Stage 3 begins in Svaneke – a picturesque town awarded the European Gold Medal for preserving its historic character. The road heads south, passing the lighthouse and the small natural harbour of Hullehavn with a trampoline and ice cream kiosk.

Just beyond Svaneke lies the lighthouse and Hullehavn – a favourite beach among locals. Further on is Årsdale – one of the most authentic Bornholm fishing settlements, featuring a distinctive working windmill. Former railway tracks now serve as a cycling path.

Bornholm's second-largest town with the island's biggest fishing harbour. Birthplace of Pelle the Conqueror author Martin Andersen Nexø. The market square hosts fairs and the Baltic Jazz festival in season. Worth visiting the museum and the creative artisan workshops.

A famous beach with the finest sand in Europe – once used in hourglasses. Crystal-clear water and kilometres of white sand stretch on both sides of the island's southern tip. It is worth climbing to the top of the lighthouse to enjoy views of the surrounding area.
