What to See in Nexø

Bornholm’s Butterfly Park attracts visitors with its tropical butterflies and plants, and the local ceramic and glass studios show that Bornholm’s craft traditions are still alive and well.

The DBJ Museum (Bornholm Railway Museum) in Nexø displays original rolling stock and tells the story of the former railway line that once connected Nexø with the rest of the island in the 20th century.

Closest to Nexø is Balka Beach – wide, sandy, and perfect for swimming – and a bit further lies Snogebæk, known for its wooden pier, small harbor, and pleasant cafés.
