Balka Havn is a small marina on Bornholm’s southeastern coast, known for its calm atmosphere, sandy beach, and excellent conditions for water sports.

Maximum depth: 0.7 m.
A private harbor mainly intended for small sailboats and motorboats.
Approach possible only during daytime and in good weather; not recommended in onshore winds.
No designated guest berths – if there’s no space available, it’s best to head to Snogebæk or Nexø.
A hand-operated slipway makes it easier to launch small boats.

History
The first mention of the harbor dates back to 1813.
Originally, a stone pier and the natural shape of the coast provided shelter for fishing boats.
After a severe storm in 1872, the pier was extended and reinforced, with a concrete quay added.
Over the following decades, small concrete basins were built.
The harbor reached its current form – three small basins – in 1980.
